Deploying Robot Manager Scan Configurations

A Scan Configuration is a detailed instruction set for a Robot App, identifying what service(s) and metrics are to be monitored, and how the data is to be tagged and returned to the Gizmo server.

This procedure must be done on the station dedicated to Gizmo Server.

  • Open the GSX PowerShell console located on the Gizmo Server.

  • Enter the cmdlet Deploy-GsxAllRobot

  • When the script ends, you will see the number of robots deployed.

Each time a Robot is deployed manually with the New-GSXRobotApp cmdlet, you need to update the Robot Statuses with the Update-GsxStatusDescriptions cmdlet.
