Failed to scan because of an invalid username parameter

Applies to Gizmo upgrade from 1.8.0 to 2.0.0.

Symptoms

Scans failed on Exchange Mailbox Server, Exchange Edge Server and Exchange DAG workloads.

Problem

The username parameter contains a backslash character \

Solution

You need to update username parameters that contain a backslash character \

Examples:

  • .\gmonitor should be replaced with gmonitor

  • ent\gmonitor should be replaced with gmonitor@ent.gsx.com
