Teams error message "Check Presence Time could not be retrieved"

Symptoms

  • Teams "Check Presence Time could not be retrieved" error

  • Teams "CreatePresenceEndPoint failed (405) Method Not Allowed” error

Problem

  • Microsoft Teams scanning fails and reports error messages related to "Presence Time”.

  • You can see the following on the Robot logs:

MSTeamsv2ScanComponent.CheckPresence: Gsx.Robot.MSTeamsv2ScanComponent.RequestException: CreatePresenceEndPoint failed: (405) Method Not Allowed

Solution

You must use the Gizmo PowerShell management console to complete this operation.

  • Add the parameter skipcheckpresence to the Teams scan configuration:

    • type boolean

    • value $true
